Native to the forests high in western New Guinea, this rare and unique begonia can be challenging to get started but once established grows well in vivarium conditions.
The upper side of the leaves is a silvery green with the underside a dark red with red stems resembling a fern like shape averaging 5 inches in mature plants.
High humidly and indirect bright light are a must, a well draining substrate with some air flow will allow the begonia bipinnatifida to thrive and spread like a shrub.
