Epidendrum porpax is native to the forests of Colombia and Venezuela, an easy to grow miniature orchid with low maintenance and making them very well suited for the vivarium.

Chubby little oblong green leaves form a thick mat producing many dark red flowers when it thrives under the right conditions, can be grown as an epiphyte.

High humidity with indirect light, air movement avoiding standing water on the leaves letting the base dry out between watering.
