The Imitator Green makes a great thumbnail for beginners as they will easily thrive under the right conditions exhibiting breeding behaviors such as huge appetites, loud calling, and tadpole rearing.

As with all Imitators the older more settled in females do tend to get aggressive and are best kept in either (sexed) pairs or small groups in large tanks. Imitators can not swim and do not do well with water features, they will however deposit tadpoles in the smallest amount of water so bromeliads are complete in house nurseries.

We ship live animals via FedEx Express only

Froskr guarantees live arrival when ALL 3 of the below conditions are met.

  1. Delivery to a FedEx pick-up location of handling Dangerous Goods.
  2. The local overnight low temperature is above 39F the night of shipping, and your high temperature is below 91F at noon on the day of arrival.
  3. Frogs are picked up at FedEx location with-in 1 hour of delivery.

You may still ship to your home delivery address at your own risk. By shipping to any other address besides a FedEx pick-up location that handles Dangerous Goods Shipping you will Not qualify for Froskr’s Live Arrival Guarantee.
